If my certification has lapsed can I become licensed?
At this time, the law does not allow people without credentials or work history (grandfather clause) to receive a license. Another avenue to pursue is to contact RID and see if it is possible to reactivate your credential. It is also possible that you are qualified for provisional license by your educational background.
